Services-on-Citrix H2 Challenge


Since this was a team challenge, teams needed to be made up of 3 or more to people within the Citrix Service organization. The idea had to be innovative; a completely new idea, or simply and better way of improving upon our current tools. The idea had to use Citrix product(s) to provide value to Citrix customers, Citrix partners or Citrix as a whole.


The Challenge was announced in September 2014. Our team idea had to be presented to any 3 members of the Services Leadership team by October 15 2014. From there, the Services Leadership team will decide which teams will move on to the next step in the challenge — the demo. If our team was selected, a demo had to be given by December 31.


The rules clearly stated that we needed to integrate Citrix products in a new way or existing fashion to improve the way partners, customers, and employees worked. The reoccurring themes was that there was a broad portfolio of Citrix products with little integration that required multiple usernames and passwords required to sign on to applications which Requires too much effort in opening and using different applications

We came up with the idea of having one location where we could access all of our tools and use one login. We called this Citrix Home.


Citrix Home will provide a customized dashboard for employees, customers and partners that leverages a single sign-on process across multiple apps and sites. No longer will users have to remember multiple passwords to access different systems within the Citrix ecosystem.

Users will have a dashboard view of commonly accessed applications such as the GoTo Suite, Podio, ShareFile, Outlook, Worx, and Receiver. The goal is to provide one place to easily get to the apps and systems that you need, while also providing a quick view of relevant data to help users better manage their day.
